Exercise 9: Staging to the DSC

Once you have made a DSC, you can stage files from your Project Folder to the DSC.

1. Establish a connection to the Trigon Network using either eduVPN or a hardwired connection
2. Login to Stager

• Go to https://stager.dccn.nl
• In the Project Storage side, enter your DCCN username (for Firstname Lastname this is firlas@dccn.nl) and password, and push Login
• In the Radboud Data Repository side, enter your RU username (u1234567@ru.nl) and password, and push Login

3. Select the Directories to Upload from Project Storage

• On the Project Storage side, double click /3010000.05/
• On the Project Storage side, check the box next to the data directory
• On the Project Storage side, push the + icon next to the results directory and check the box next to the firlas directory where firlas is your DCCN username

4. Select the Directory to Upload to in the Radboud Data Repository

• On the Radboud Data Repository side, double click dccn
• On the Radboud Data Repository side, double click DSC_3010000.05_519
• On the Radboud Data Repository side, select the + icon at the bottom of the screen, next to the settings icon and the green box with your RU username
• In the Dialog box, type your DCCN username (firlas) an push Create
• On the Radboud Data Repository side, check the box next to the directory you have just created

5. Upload the data to your Data Sharing Collection

• Push the Upload button
